When you cannot control the outcome
Trust is easy to agree with and hard to do. Most of us would rather be told the plan first and surrender afterwards, which is not surrender at all.
These three letters circle the same difficulty from different sides: wanting to know before letting go, holding on to the thing you have been asked to open your hands around, and looking back to find that the provision came anyway.
They admit the wanting-control part instead of skipping ahead to the surrender, which is what makes them worth reading twice.
Read one, then use the journalling questions at the end. Naming the specific thing you are gripping is usually the whole work.
